1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pellicule ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Pellicule is a personal photography app that allows users to publish one photo per day and build a visual archive over time. The Service includes a public daily feed, personal rolls, gallery rolls, and user profile pages.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at support@pellicule.app.

By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 15 years old. If you are under 15, you may only use the Service with the prior consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

4. User Content

You retain full ownership of the photos and content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant Pellicule a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service — for example, showing your photos on your public profile or in the daily feed.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you upload, and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or infringes any third-party rights
• Upload content depicting minors in a sexual or exploitative manner
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in that policy.

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the application settings. Upon deletion, your account and all associated data — including your photos — will be permanently removed.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pellicule shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including the loss of User Content.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
